Passers-by grab hoses and assist in battling brush fire

A fast-moving brush fire behind houses along Fitch Bridge and Gratuity roads brought firefighters from Groton, Pepperell, Townsend, Dunstable and Ayer to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. via Groton Landmark
