Rash of car burglaries spreading through SLO

San Luis Obispo police are worried about a recent rash of car burglaries in the city, which has always been somewhat plagued by the crime because its affluent residents often leave purses, cell phones and iPods out in full view to passers-by. There were 108 total car burglaries across the city in April, May and June.
