The following transfers were filed in the Buncombe County Register of Deeds office June 15-19: Arden * Lot 26 section 2 block G of Mountain View Arden, $150,000, Brenda P. and Wayne W. Stepp, Lois Paulette and William H. Dail III to Rebecca L. Jeffries.
Long Shoals bridge work moves forward
Workers began putting in place the beams for a new bridge over the French Broad River last week as work on the Long Shoals Road widening project continued last week.
