2 Girls Arrested In Waubonsie Threat
Two 16-year-old Naperville girls have been charged with falsely making a terrorist threat and criminal defacement to property, both felonies, in connection with threats scrawled on two bathroom stalls at Waubonsie Valley High School on May 8, Aurora police said.
The messages, which referenced blowing up the high school Wednesday, along with other threats, were found by a student who contacted school administrators, police said. The Aurora officer assigned to Waubonsie Valley investigated with school officials. Precautions were taken for Wednesday, including an increased police presence and adjusting how students would enter and leave the building. Read more
