The front which we thought would be the focal point of more Thunderstorms with possibly some severe weather moved through the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Showers that developed along a cold front over Fort Worth quickly moved into Dallas County. One of the results was departure delays of at least an hour at DFW Airport, airport officials reported about 2:15 p.m.
The storm is moving to the east at about 20 mph. Another storm in Rockwall County is moving through about the same pace.
In addition, some of these storms could become severe with large hail and damaging winds. The greatest threat will be south and east of the Metro area. Read more
