Claiborne Electric members donate more than $30,000 to charitable causes
The membership of Claiborne Electric Cooperative has granted $30,300.60 to charitable organizations in the six parish area served by the Co-op.
These grants were made possible through Claiborne Electric's community service program, Operation Round Up. In the program, members voluntarily allow their bills to be rounded up to the next whole dollar. The difference in the actual bill and the rounded amount is deposited into the Operation Round Up Trust Fund. The funds accumulated are allocated and dispersed to charitable causes in the communities served by Claiborne Electric. Read more
