Picnic area being built under Kennedy Bridge
For years, a half-acre lot beneath the Kennedy Bridge was used as a staging area for bridge painters -- they drove trucks in and out, stacked heavy supplies and gear there, and generally 'destroyed it,' said Gary Pepper, facilities manager for the Waterfront Development Corp.
Asphalt plant wants complaint dismissed
Kay & Kay Contracting's asphalt plant on KY 363 kept the Laurel Circuit Court busy last year, with complaints and responses filed on a regular basis.
