Plumber's Torch Blamed For Framingham Fire
A plumber's touch is believed to be the cause of the massive high rise fire in Framingham last week.
State Fire Marshal Stephen Coan and Framingham Fire Chief Ollie Gadson say a plumber's torch started the fire in the bathroom closet of a second floor apartment at Jefferson Village on Temple Street near Route 9.
Officials say the fire was an accident.
Firefighters from Natick and Ashland helped the Framingham Fire Department battle the flames, which took three-and-a-half hours to knock down. Read more
