A land swap involving the city of Asheville puts an iconic structure in the hands of the city.

Helen's Bridge, which is located on Beaucatcher Mountain and is described in local lore and literature, is included in the swap between the city and Zealandia Holdings,LLC. In the deal, Zealandia Holdings is giving the city four acres around the bridge, and the city is giving Zealandia five acres farther north on the mountain.
