Yeah at this point does it really
matter who is getting 'cheap' gas
at $3.79 a gallon? It still is
outrageous and stupid.

I didnt know that the high gas prices was the mexicans fault. And here I thought it was the fact tht we are dependent on foriegn oil. Amazing a country that can go to the moon, can send missions to mars and the farthest parts of our solar system and we cannot figure a way off of foriegn oil. Must be all the mexicans on the board of the oil companies or the mexicans in congress. Or all the mexicans who are shareholders of these oil companies who refuse to say STOP IT.
Enjoy is wrong word

Nobody is "enjoying" gas prices whether they are just a hair over outrageous or a smidgeon under highway robbery! Enjoying is the wrong word.

and all this time the mexicans are driving the price of gas up by invading and using gas to fuel their beat up pickup trucks to race3 off to their hat dances and landscaping jobs which causes more demand for limited supply ITS CALLED ECONOMICS

here in Detroit gas is anywhere from $4.19 to $4.25 a gallon, due to high state taxes (or so I am told)
I would give my left kidney for anything lower than $4.00 I tell ya!

The most frustrating part though, is the gas will just jump anywhere from 10 to 25 cents OVERNIGHT! Last week I paid 4.03 on a Thursday, the next day it was 4.25
What the h@ll??? There is absolutley no rhyme or reason to it at all, it like they pick a friggin number out in the sky.
Is this happening in ABQ too??

It is just as bad here. I have gotten up in the morning and seen gas at a station at $3.69/gal and when I go home or pass by again in a few hours it has jumped up to $3.80/ gallon or more. Of course if the price of a barrel of oil goes down, you do not see the prices falling that quickly, but you certainly see it skyrocket when the price for a barrel goes up.

Just think, at the rate the oil price is climbing, in 30 days you will really think today's gasoline price is cheap.

exactly.....it's sad. On my road trip from ABQ to Detroit in December I so happened to take a picture of a gas station in Illinois. Unleaded was $2.98 gallon. That's an increase of $1.27 in about 7 months...which results in about a $20.00 increase to fill up the tank in my Ponitac. Friggin depressing, and ridiculous. These prices are killing us. Small businesses cant do business, families cant even afford a quick roadtrip to go camping or visit relatives in their own states.
It's 4th of July weekend, and most people are staying home. In fact I have heard alot of people totally disgruntled against the USA and oil companies...not much to be happy about or celebrate when you feel your country is completely screwing you over....espcially when you work your a$$ off for this country.
