So, was Miguel Angel Cruz Martinez given a helicopter ride to a "trauma center"? If not, were his civil rights violated?
Legal advocates want to know.

Is Martinez licensed to drive a motor vehicle in California? Is Martinez entitled to reside in the U.S.? Did the police contact ICE to determine his immigration status? If not why not? The public has a right to know the immigration status and criminal impact illegal immigration has on society and the lawful residents of this State!
because watsonville is a sanctuary city for the 800th time. they wont call immigration for these people

How do they choose these stories. The County jail is packed every weekend and this newspaper only prints one story. And it's usually a Mexican stabbing or a Mexican DUI. And fires. This is Cops and Courts. Where are the Cop stories and where are the Court stories ? Pathetic.

Stiffer penalties for drunk drivers please! Jail for a year if you are involved in a wreck. Minimum 3 years if someone is hurt. 5 year drivers license suspension? Sounds like a good deterrent.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Libra

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
