Syracuse football gives scholarship to walk-on tight end Kyle Kleinberg

The 6-foot, 237-pound Armonk, N.Y., native has developed into a core special teams player for the Orange, making seven tackles over his career and serving as a member of the kick return unit last fall. Kleinberg joined the program in 2015 as a linebacker after earning Big North Conference All-United Division First Team honors as a senior at Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, N.J. He switched to tight end before the 2016 season.
