Japanese culture blooms in White Plains at cherry blossom festival
“My own kids, who are growing up here, have not experienced this in Japan, but they get a chance to do it here.”
WHITE PLAINS - Dressed in a floral-patterned bright pink cotton yukata - an informal kimono - 8-year-old Mio Shimizu perfectly complemented the delicate, pale pink cherry blossoms surrounding her. via Journal News
