There is a beauty in the spring sunrise here in Luna that is indescribable. The days are beginning to warm up, while the nights are still crisp and a little icy. The morning sky lights up with warm red and orange that embraces you silhouetting the pines. It is a sight that makes turning off the alarm and taking a deep breath to face the day so much easier.

The Luna Valley 4-H will host The Great American Bake Sale and annual rabies clinic at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the Luna Firehouse. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to help feed needy children across America. Rabies immunization is important since rabid animals have been found in Catron County.
