BLOG: What happens when nobody votes?
I picked up a copy of the Grand Forks Herald during a recent trip up to my native lands and noticed that while my colleagues and I are grumbling around the newsroom about 26-percent voter turnout rates in Athens and elsewhere in Georgia, my friends in North Dakota have a different problem: In some towns, nobody even bothers to vote.
