ARCADIA, Calif. - Taking advantage of wickedly fast pace set by favorite Careless Jewel, jockey Garrett Gomez guided Life Is Sweet to the outside on the far turn and stormed home from last at the top of the stretch to win by 2 1 2-lengths over Mushka in the $2,000,000 Breeders' Cup Ladies Classic on Friday.
