In-N-Out part of anniversary pricing hoax

Don't head to Santa Anita and Colorado hoping for break on a Double-Double in thoughts of celebrating In-N-Out's anniversary.

Those saving their change for an In-N-Out feast Oct. 22 are going to have some empty stomachs as a rumor being spread about In-N-Out prices dropping to 1960s standards is untrue.

On Monday October 6th, Phillipe's in downtown L.A. had their 100th year anniversary. They were selling their beef dip sandwiches for 10 cents each. Early in the morning the news crews were there to report the event. By the afternoon, everybody and their brother showed up.

Thank You Phillipe's !!!!!

It's always nice to give the consumers a break. In this case, it's very unfortunate that thousands of people got the discount memo, for it not to be true.

I'm dissapointed In=N=Out will not give their costumers a break just for one day.

So sad.

A break? I think their prices are quite reasonable especially considering the quality of the product they sell. McDonalds, Carls Jr., Burger King all WISH they could do what In-N-Out has been able to do.

Some jackass starts this stupid rumor and In-N-Out is going to look like a bunch of Scrooges trying to quash it.

I'm not disappointed (one 's') that they're not giving anything away. I think they are one of the best run, privately owned, companies in the market. Their food here in Arizona is great compared to the regular burger places.

Don't screw with a good thing. Plus, think of the traffic problems.

Phillipe's has my mouth watering. Thanks JR.....

The only thing In-n-Out has discounted is the size and quality of their food. I wouldn't go there if they were giving away free food-it's like heart attack in a bag!

Sorry, but you can't compare In-n-Out to Philippes!
I don't care if prices won't be dropped to celebrate their 60th anniversary. I'll still be going there to celebrate :)...They are the freshest burgers around.

They are completely two different kinds of food. They are two of the greatest sandwich stores in the greater L.A. area. I wish the both of them the best.
