Imposters claiming to be water inspectors sought

The Baltimore Department of Public Works is warning residents to be on the lookout for impostors who are trying to get into people's homes by claiming to be water bacteria inspectors. Officials said two men, one carrying a pen and pencil and wearing orange shirt and jeans, recently tried this ploy in Arbutus.

'The impostors pose as Bureau of Water and Wastewater employees and seek to gain illegal admittance into your home, distract you and steal from you,' according to a statement from DPW.
