Substitute GUN for every place the writer used KNIFE. Now this I believe is called irony. So to help further if this had been a gun used people would be calling for yet more gun control. I am only trying to help folks like you understand these confusing issues.

It is true, people have changed. there have been weapons around for years and years. Every child used to carry a gun or a knife to hunt or protect thier family. It is not the weapons that kill and trying to take them away will not solve anything, the bad guys will find a way to illegally have them. The problem here is that children these days are not taught how to solve problems. There is no one to blame its just facts. people these days dont have the down to earth morals that they used to, and do not understand how precious a life is, and that there is no excuse no matter how pissed off you are you cant kill someone.

I'm sure the stabbing was purely accidental. Maybe they were rehearsing for a play.
irony1 [ˈaiər&# 601;ni] noun — plural ˈironies a form of deliberate mockery in which one says the opposite of what is obviously true

Had only the knife that was used in this killing been locked in it`s proper place, and with only a one inch blade...this would have prevented this loss of life. It is time people to call for absolute controll of these dagerous and killing weapons for good. It`s time to stop all stores from selling [right out in the open mind you] knives to the public. Only police should be allowed to carry and use a knife. If a law had been in place that said only one knife per household, and that was sold to an adult that went through a background check first, and the knife only sold at a store with a proper lic., and EVERY knife registered, this death would have never happened. Yes, it`s true....more random acts of violence happen with knives than any other weapon. Time to controll this needless item RIGHT NOW! A "turn in knives program" will save a future child, and it`s time Minnesota implimented such a program right now, and set a course towards new laws and restrictions aimed at knife violence. After all, it`s clear as a bell this would not have happened, had Minnesota held up to it`s high standard of controll on these deadly products called knives. Save our children....BAN KNIVES! And soon we'll have to eat dinner with our hands because silverware will be outlawed. I hope you're being funny with this post, but I'm afraid you're not. People will always find a way to be rotten and violent and it's going to get worse unless we start cutting off hands for punishment. Like they do in the old country. If you want to deterr crime, stop giving pond scum like these perps lectures and coloring books.

"Neighbors said the Dallara Avenue house where the suspect and his brother lived has been a source of complaints.
Ron Kobel, a neighbor, said problems started after the suspect and his two brothers moved in."
Let me guess- rental housing?

I notice one of the guilty has a last name of MAartinez. WHen you deal with MExicans you have to be prepared for fatal violence. THey don't get into fist fights like normal people. Because most are small and puny wimps, they use knives and guns. THat is why do many Hispanic gangs exist. You don't see lots of gang activity in poor parts of iddle Iowa. But, you put a bunch of Mexicans together and you have gangs.
We need to crack down on these illegal immigrants and keep these Mexicans out of America. Mexico is the most corrupt country on earth. Mexicans bring with them a culture of violence and corruption.
I was so not suprised to see a Mexican name associated with murder.

A friend of mine is dating a MExican girl here on a VISA. He says she hates all her relativers in AMerica because they do everything they can to steal from America. THey tell their kids to hate AMerica and love MExico. THis is true. Dumb liberals need to spend time with this lady to get the truth behind Illegals and expose them for the scumbags that they are.
