Soggy Weather Puts Damper On Garage Sales
“If you want the baby clothes, you'll come out in anything”
Some might call the Diamond Road neighborhood in Apple Valley famous for its garage sales.
On Saturday, April 26, more than 150 people will open up their garages to people from all over the area.
"People come far and wide for the Diamond Path garage sales," said Jane St. Ores, "They come from Iowa -- they come from everywhere."
St. Ores and eight other families are selling clothes, toys, shoes, housewares, sports equipment and more. They had stuff all of their stuff into her garage to protect it from the rain. Still, she said, that won't scare anyone away. Read more
