The Western Conservation District recently hosted a Conservation Poster Contest for grades K-12. The 2009 Poster Contest theme was "Dig It, The Secrets of Soil." The National Association of Conservation Districts is using the "Dig It" in partnership with the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the Soil Science Society of America.
