Owner of downtown Orlando hotel files for Chapter 11

The owner of the Sheraton Downtown Orlando, a 15-story hotel on the shores of Lake Ivanhoe, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Thursday. via The Orlando Sentinel

Orlando is not ready for prime time and remains a 4th class hicksville town behind Miamil, Jacksonville and Tampa. Light rail is dead, the condos are deserted, maybe we can kill the venues yet.
