Antigo man accused of murder-for-hire plot
An Antigo man faces a charge that he tried to hire someone to kill his ex-wife.
Cash bond is set at $100,000 for 36-year-old Chad Jorgensen, who's charged with solicitation of first-degree intentional homicide.
The criminal complaint says authorities recorded Jorgensen discussing the plot with the other man, who told police he had jokingly agreed to be the hit man. The informant also told police Jorgensen agreed to give him photos of the ex-wife and partial payment, with the rest to follow once the job was done. Read more
