Who ever wrote this article should go back to school. It makes no sense at all. How is the victim sleeping in the kvia car when he's suppose to be dead??? My 5 year old nephew could work for the el paso times and probably do a better job at writting the stories. What a sorry newspaper when the reporters can not even write a story! Take this email to the president of the el paso times! Go back to journalism school who ever wrote it. Was the wrtitter drunk?? and you call yourselves a publication??

If you read the story a little closer you will see the person that died was female and the driver male is the one that was found sleeping, and intoxicated. By the way, "writting and writter" as you put it are actually spelled "writing and writer". Perhaps you are the one that needs to return to school and pay closer attention to your own grammatical errors, and comprehension skills are low based on what you read and what was actually written.

However, the driver of the car was later discovered sleeping inside a KVIA-TV (ABC Ch. 7) news car.
Learn how to read, dumbo. You need to go back to school!

I had to read this article several times to understand it. It is confusing because the writer didnt specify the victim was a PASSENGER and the DRIVER was found sleeping in the news car after rolling over several times. How did the freken driver survive that s**t?

They should investigate who purchased the alcohol for him or where he purchased it because he is still underage. also, find out if the 29 year old lady was the one that purchased the alcohol.......... who knows.........

I am completely at a loss for words. A life taken and now one lost...it's a shame. We all make mistakes when we're young, but some pay for it with more than a ticket or hangover. My prayers go out to the Davila family, as well as the family of the woman killed in the crash. At a time like this, I don't wonder who's fault it was, because that is now irrelevant. I am more concerned with the people who care about both parties, I'm sure torn by this terrible tragedy.

The sad thing is that a lot of conveniece stores and even bars don't check id's. Especially if one of their friends work in the establishment.

Truth be told... "lino" made a stupid mistake in driving while intoxicated. I know for a fact that they were drinking before they went out and also know that they were all drunk to begin with. Either way whoever ended up driving his car was headed for bad news. I just can't believe he would do something so stupid!

Who cares about "writting" "writing" - that's common spelling errors. Most do it. Bear was right. These pitiful so-called journalists writing for the EP Times don't even have minimum reporting skills. Ever watch the News? LOL Even worse! I have a small collection of some News segments I've taped and it's funny to watch them. Especially one with Nicole Ayoub STRUGGLING to say the word "acetaminophen"! LOL!! Ya, so we don't watch the News or read the newspaper for any valuable or worthwhile information - strictly for laughs!

Where does it say the driver was asleep? It says he was sitting inside the van dusty and dirty and drinking a "Big Gulp."

the guy was in the "kvia" news van drinking a big gulp, from 7-11...he was awake but disoriantated. the passenger was the tragic victim & the back seat passenger wasoutside the car. as far as"raul gonzalez jr", what facts do you have, to know what condition this guy was in before they got in the car??? what is your position in this story, were you actually there ? don`t be suprised when the police come to investigate your "factual story" be careful what you say & where you say it & where you publish it.

He is just like his dad, a drunk and trailer park trash. I pray for the Venturo family and I hope they keep Lino in jail for the life he took. I know Lino too, and the people that are saying the horrible, mean and rude comments are the ones telling the truth. I fell the same way, put him away for life. The fact is he ran away while his friend was died and his other friend was injured. That just tells you what type of a person he is, a looser and now a killer.

Lino, is my best friend. If anyone knows him, i do. He didnt mean to kill Victoria. But she should have been wearing her seatbelt. The reason Lino and the other girl lived was because they were wearing their seatbelts! yes, lino shouldnt have been drinking and driving...but they were all drunk...and these older women had bought the alcohol for lino and they were the ones who let him get in that car and risk all of their lives. So NO ONE has any room to Judge Lino....he is an amazing person who just made a mistake....and yes..he will pay for it for the rest of his life....

Who cares who bought it, Lino was drunk, under the age and he put them at risk. "But Lino is my best friend" whatever, I know him too, who cares. I don't think if she would have been wearing her seatbelt would have made any difference, If Lino wasn't shit faced that would have made the difference. You do know he blow 3 times the limit when they found him?(Almost 4hr after the accident) And now Lino think he is going to fight this by saying "well she bought it" and get off, I don't think so. I hope he spend most of life behind bars so the rest of us are safe from people like him. Lino....he is an amazing person behind bar, and that is the only place he is amazing.
