Anniston businessman charged in double homicide
The owner of an Anniston body and paint shop has been charged with two counts of capital murder in the deaths of two people whose charred remains were found in a fire-damaged house last month.
Anniston Police said 49-year-old Robert Clarence Ervin of Weaver was arrested Friday. He's accused of killing 26-year-old William Junior Nunn and 47-year-old Annette Spinks, both of Anniston. Police said both victims were shot to death and their bodies burned beyond recognition.
Firefighters found their remains in a back room of the residence on Bancroft Avenue on March 8th. Read more
