Traffic Stop May Have Snagged Those Who Threatened Bomb
A traffic stop made by Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes Thursday afternoon may have netted those who made a bomb threat toward Covington County.

According to Andalusia Mayor Earl Johnson and Sgt. Jason Curry with the Andalusia Police Department, a bomb threat was called into the Andalusia City School District Central Office this morning saying an IED or explosive device had been sent to a county governmental office.

Alabama pols vote to ignore new fed gun control laws
The Senate passed legislation Tuesday declaring that "All federal acts, laws, orders, rules or regulations regarding firearms are a violation of the Second Amendment." It also says federal laws in violation of the Second Amendment shall be considered null and void in Alabama.
