1 All the landscrapers I see appear to be illegal latinos. While it may be a stereotypical comment, it’s also the truth. |

1 While I agree that Rosen probably feels he’s special, elite and doesn’t deserve to be prosecuted, I hate to tell you some of the last names of most people who hit pedestrians while intoxicated and driving without a license. You might also check the “wall of shame” and read what the majority of those names are. |

1 Yes, good point. Spanich have problems with booze and judgement. But they pay the price. No jewish discount for them. The Hebrew will get his named removed or Newsday will not post it. And it's not just Rosen. Look at Meyer, he got a lesser charge for a hit run and kill and good luck finding his mugshot on the Newsday site. Two wrongs don't make a right. |

1 In my town I don't see many Hispanic landscapers. They all seem to be locals who never bothered to go to college or they dropped out. |

1 Well that's a switch. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who mows his lawn (one of two on the block that actually owns a lawnmower). |

wtf?
http://www.amityvillerecord.com/ July 16, 2008 Village reserves decision on controversial bar application; names Bryan Burton Sergeant By Carolyn James By Carolyn James For the second time in almost as many months, the Amityville Village Board told the owners of Puntaroca, a bar on Route 110, that they would not consider issuing a cabaret license to them, and permission for a coin- operated amusement device until they gained greater control over their establishment. Over the past several months, there have been numerous calls for police assistance at the establishment and reports of fights and assaults. In one instance, an Amityville Police Officer was struck and slightly injured. "We have told you the last time you came before this board that we want to see you operate your business in a lawful and orderly manner," said Mayor Peter T. Imbert. "If you can show us that you can do that, then we will consider your applications. Misael Guardado, the owner, was represented at the meeting by Val Cherkoss of Blumberg, Fitzgibbons & Blumberg of Amityville. Cherkoss said that one of the incidents at the establishment, in which two people were injured and two security guards were arrested, occurred because several individuals were denied access to the establishment. "These individuals were not inside (the bar)," he said. "They were not the kind of people my client wanted in his establishment and they were turned away. The incident, which was not started by our security, occurred outside of the bar. My client is trying to keep a clean place." In that incident one victim sustained a cut across his throat and another had a severe bite to his thumb. Amityville Village rescue was called to transport the victims to the hospital for treatment. Police records show that calls to the Puntaroca included five alarms, two incidents of criminal mischief, five disturbances, a grand larceny and harassment. Calls to police also included complaints about loud music and there were State Liquor Authority violations, as well as six violations of Village ordinances. Calls to the attorney representing Puntaroca following the meeting were not returned. The Mayor said that it would close the hearing and reserve decision on the matter. |

1 The woman jogger was also at fault for jogging in the street. Most of the other deaths of that type and violent instances involve illegals. Why do they cause so much trouble and make others hate them? Don’t blame the Jews for that, blame the foul, illegal, slimy, greasy, dirty south-of-the-border dirt bags for that. By the way, that link worked for me. http://www.amityvillerecord.com/news/2008/071... |
