Bowling Green Teen Drowns in Barren River

“Later on a boat was launched further. I think that's South of here, and came up to this point. And they started searching the river with a boat”

A Bowling Green teenager drowned after trying to cross the Barren River. Police say the body of 15-year-old Jessie Ingram was discovered early Sunday about 50 yards downstream from where he went under. via WBKO-TV Bowling Green

sean was my lil cousin, he will greatly be missed....i loved and treated him like a lil brother.

I did not know this young man; however judging by the amount of people who attended his funeral, this Community lost a very good and kind person. I have never seen so many young people in one place in Bowling Green in my life and I was born here. The Warren East JROTC did a very good thing this day by honoring their fallen Cadet. In my eyes this is A GREAT MAN.

i did not know him well at all. but im sorry hes gone. i am a JROTC cadet at Warren Central, but no matter what school he went to, he was still a fellow cadet and will be missed.
