The death penalty definitely needs to be used incases such as these. Letting inmates on death row sit there and soak up our tax dollars does nothing to stunt the growth of violent crime rates in our nation. Criminals convicted and sentenced to death should not get to sit around and veg on our money for years on end, but need to be taken out immediately and disposed of by the proper authorities. Maybe then we can stop some of this crap from happening.

I agree with rlo1976. The jurors did their job, and now the tax payers have to suffer for it. Why not just end it all now and save us a lot of money? Lead is a lot cheaper than 10 years worth of food.
