The "prevalent sexual morality of the time" changes from block to block and minute to minute. What good is a law that changes definitions depending on where you are, and who you are talking to? How do you police a state of mind? This is a waste of time, jihadis may be sneaking up on us, but dirty videos are not. What a load off my mind!!!!

I totally agree with you, it is a First Amendment issue that has not been fully settled.

I totally agree with you Kelly. If consenting adults are involved, and these were probably staged acts, who is to tell me what I can or can watch? No animals hurt, no people actually injured, no children. And how do you prevent a clip from being downloaded to a state that says that type of material is "illegal" via the internet? I have not seen the movies for which MR. LITTLE is being arrested for, I am just guessing it could have involved bondage with the involvement of actual sexual intercourse which i heard is against the law, but i am definitely not sure,hope someone in the industry could elaborate on this subject?

A1. Who's average? Why? Prove it—somehow.
A2. What are "contemporary community standards"? Contemporary how? What community? What standard(s)? Prove to me why I should have to adopt those standards in my private home. HINT: "Because everbody needs you to" or "… thinks you should" is not enough of a reason. Dig deeper!
A3. Define prurient. HINT #1: GIving an example is not a definition. HINT #2: Using adjectives from previous comments in this extemporaneous little colloquy is lazy. Be creative—you might convince me!
A4. Define prurient (which Pablo mistyped). SEE HINT #1 above.

B1. What's patently offensive? Prove why I should think the same as you about this. You can do it!(You all see where I'm going with this? It's fun!)
B2. What's sexual conduct? HINT: Beware narrow definitions; remember "perversions" are individually defined.
B3. Prove why any state law regulating should be considered the final authority on what is sexual conduct—let alone on whether the conduct is patently offensive.(Boy, this is hard, huh? Feel like giving up yet?)

C1. What is serious literary value? Prove your contention. What is serious artistic value? Same. What is serious political value? Same. What is serious scientific value? Same. HINT: Giving examples here may be vivid, but isn't the same as proof. Use your critical thinking skills!
