Linda Coon Files for Re-election to County Treasurer Position
Linda Coon, Alma, has filed for the position of Wabaunsee County Treasurer. Linda has served in the capacity for one term.
Linda and her husband, Bill, have been married for 31 years. They have two grown children, a son and a daughter, and two grandsons.
"I have worked in this office for 22 years. I trained for over 19 years under the previous county treasurer until her retirement," Coon said.
She continued by listing her additional qualifications by saying that she has completed 48 hours of certification classes offered through the Kansas County Treasurers' Association and the Docking Institute of Pubic Affairs of Ft. Hays State University. Read more
