It's all just a mis-perception - Allentown is the most misunderstood city in the world. Everyone thinks it is a violent, dangerous place but it isn't! That's just a perception.

GREAT! Another dead crack head. To bad the guy wasnt handier with the knife. The only thing better than a dead crack head is multiple dead crack heads.
The only sad thing about this incident is that we the tax payers will be paying for all of the hospital bills. I dont mind if they use my money for coffins, but it drives me nuts that we have to pay to nurse them back to health.

The scary part of this story is the location. Two schools are in walking distance to this crime scene. The Second Street area or 2-N-D has been a very serious problem for over a decade. The neighbors have unsucessfully tried to start a neighborhood watch, while the city of Allentown paid for a "block party" last spring to promote unity. In light of this, and other, news I would consider both efforts to be a failure. When crimes happen at 7am, it's not usually about the breakfast cereal...it's about staying up all night under the influence of something. Very sad event. This area of Atown has to be cleaned up. Otherwise the gangs win.
