Council approves transfer of Glenwood agreement to Shea Homes
Shea Homes will be the "go to" company for home development once again, City Council members decided, as it transferred the development agreement of the Glenwood at Aliso Viejo project to the Walnut-based company. Shea, which purchased the project from Emerald Venture Group and ClubCorp in mid-December, will be taking over the rights and responsibilities of the 502-home development agreement that was originally agreed upon between the city, Emerald and ClubCorp. "This does not come as a surprise to me since we always anticipated this would go out to another builder," said Mayor Carmen Vali-Cave.
