I will accomodate el cholo by reiterating that every single person arrested for a crime should have thier legal residence verified, and be reported to ICE if illegal. Regardless of color or ethnicity. There are millions of people here of all races and nationalities who may have arrived legally, but have let their visas expire, and stayed anyway, along with those who have entered the country illegally to begin with.

As far as this particular case is concerned, now that the man is convicted, shouldn't his teaching credential be revoked? shouldn't the teacher's union remove him from their membership roles? How can it be that, as stated in this article, that this man could have his probation officer or a court give him permission to teach again? Will he walk into prison knowing in advance that he will only serve a small part of his 6 year sentence due to "good behavior"?

Then there is the little matter of the defense attorney, Berry, who has been suspended from the Bar due to unpaid dues. How could he appear in court in that situation? What does the Bar intend to do about it?

It seems to me that there is a lot of scum attached to a lot of people in this ugly situation. Particularly to the accused, of course.

I can tell you all that you dont want to go to prison with a case like that if they have the chance they will kill him and i say good he is a bad man that sould be dealt with he is the worst kind of crimal anyone who harms women or kids and like a video game i play video game and if kidy porn is like that i quit video games and everyone sorry for the spelling he will get what is coming to him that will be the hardest 6 years any other prisoner will do.

Have you ever watched, TRU TV, and all those cases of FBI Files, investigative this and that?, they could find the guilty party just by smellin a fart in the air, and back track, what was eaten what restaurant sale that food, how long before it was eaten, and who was at the restaurant during that period of time, until they isolated the guilty party~~~~~~~~~~
Now why can they find out who post those sick videos of children been raped, and track them until found and then lynch the bastards, raping an infant? now that's the lowest.

What's this, the Spanish Inquisition, are you all a bunch of Puritans. First of all, I don't condone child porn but this guy only had files and images, he didn't rape anyone. So he looks at these in his own home and beats off, he's a sicko but he didn't hurt anybody. Granted, it's disgusting but they need to get the people that make them. Just my opinion.

Didn't hurt anybody? are you retard, if there was no demand for those images, then there will be no producers, so because of his "Hobby", in the comfort of his home, while spanking the monkey, some children were hurt, to produce gratification for his SICK A**!!!, he should of tried adult porno, at least the "Actor/Actress", know what they are doing and willing participants

You can't eradicate demand for a certain product, no matter how hard you try. The suppliers are the one you should take down.

You sure are naive, you think giving this man 6 1/2 years will even put a dent in this industry, come on. The article stated that he has been a teacher for many years, which I think is very honorable profession, given what they are paid. This guy is societies scape goat.

I have to admidt, you make sense. But at the end of the day, society has to send a message to would be peds that if you participate in this kind of activity, you are going down. That's the main crux of this. Police know this won't slow production a lot, but hopefully it will deter at least one person from even thinking about buying or making such filth.

Wouldn't make more sense, that as a first time ofender he be given some court ordered therapy that he would have to pay for. That way us tax payers wouldn't have to foot the hundreds of thousands of dollors it would cost to keep him in prison for 6 1/2 years, the students don't lose a teacher, and he would be paying his tax's, maybe he could be rehabilatated. That's the problem with these kinds of subjects, it all knee jerk reaction and most of it not very well thought out. If he does it again, off with his head.
