Senate session convenes, but quickly stalls

Sounds like a bunch of playground bullies to me. Grow up for God's sake and move on. I know, it's all about them -- to hell with the citizens.

So now we have a guy under indictment for assault holding the state hostage and the powerless gov "compelling" lawmakers to return. We really do live in Somalia.

Monserrate belongs in jail not in Albany, Patterson and the whole Senate are a joke. Its time to vote out all incumbants of both parties.

"Get over it!", as was the quote from the same party to Republicans when they lost the majority. Enough with the litigation and stalling of legislative process. You've done that enough already. Get back to business.
