Albert Lea Meat Processor To Expand
Meat processor Select Foods in Albert Lea, Minn. said it will spend $1.5 million to expand its buildings then hire dozens of new employees.
Company President Kelly Wadding said the 7,200-foot expansion will include lunchrooms, locker rooms and additional office space.
The company plans to add 50 to 100 new jobs once the expansion is finished, which is expected by the end of the year.
The company started in 2005 with 75 employees. It will have about 500 workers after the expansion. Read more
