Divers recovered the body of a 24-year-old Albany man who drowned Sunday evening in the Willamette River in Corvallis.

A 24-year-old Albany man drowned in the Willamette River on Sunday. The boyd of Lee Roy Allen Dow was recovered by divers around 7:24 p.m. Firefighters started searching just before 6 p.m. when witnesses reported Dow had slipped from his innertube and vanished underwater near the Crystal Lake Boat Ramp.
