Engagement: Lindsay Conley & Jared Burress

<![CDATA[Lindsay Conley to wed Jared Burress Mr. and Mrs. Paul Booker Conley III of Alamo, Tennessee announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Lindsay Faulkner Conley to Mr. Jared Evan Burress, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Burress of Semmes, Alabama and Ms. Phyllis Burress of Bells, Tennessee. Miss Conley is a graduate of Crockett County High School in Alamo, Tennessee. At the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Miss Conley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She is a member of the social fraternity Alpha Chi Omega and is a proud UT Volunteer fan. Miss Conley received her Masters Degree in Education from The University of Tennessee at Martin. Currently, she is a teacher at Alamo City School. Mr. Jared Burress is a graduate of Crockett County High School in Alamo, Tennessee. Mr. Burress attended Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and is a proud University of Memphis fan. He is currently employed at SSAB in Mobile, Alabama. The Couple will exchange vows on June 1st at 7pm at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Booker Conley III. After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Daphne, Alabama.

EMA director: Storm causes flooded roads in Crockett County

High winds and rain caused flooding on five roads in Crockett County, according to Joe Jones, Emergency Management Agency director.
