Dave Newhouse: Long way from 'Wrong Way"

Florence Coustier's 15 minutes of fame adds up to one hour.

That's because Coustier had separate encounters with four iconic pilots — Charles Lindbergh, Howard Hughes, Amelia Earhart, and Douglas ''Wrong Way'' Corrigan.

So four times 15 minutes makes it one hour. That's quite a celebrity list, though, for this 92-year-old Alameda resident to have acquired in one lifetime.

All four encounters occurred at Roosevelt Field on Long Island, New York. Of the four, Coustier's strongest memory was sitting on Corrigan's lap two days before his infamous flight.
