A 41-year-old Akron man was killed in a crash Sunday night. Jamie Thorrat, of Dorchester Road, was driving north on Dorchester at 10:30 p.m. He was speeding in a 2003 Ford Focus as he approached Jefferson Avenue and lost control of the car, police said.
