Stimulus money buys Alaska 23 more police officers
Police departments across Alaska will soon be beefing up their forces with federal stimulus money, the White House announced today.
More flood affected communtites made eligible for assistance
JUNEAU, Alaska-Alaskans living in the Yupiit and Lower Yukon regional educational attendance areas may now be eligible for disaster unemployment assistance if they have been unable to work or unable to pursue their own business as a direct result of the disaster.

The Eagle River Seventh-Day Adventist Church has organized a donation dropoff to aid the people of Eagle who lost their homes to flooding this spring.
