Accident in SW Minnesota kills woman, injures four
marshall, minn. - A southwest Minnesota woman died and four people were injured Friday night in a two-vehicle accident near Adrian, Minn. Mary E. Kellen, 66, of Adrian was killed, the Minnesota State Patrol in Marshall said. Her husband, Joseph, 67, was in stable condition Monday at Avera McKennan Hospital. Joseph Kellen was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu south on Highway 91 at 210th Street three miles north of Adrian when the car started to skid sideways into the path of Tim Petersen's northbound 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass, the patrol said. The Cutlass' left front hit the Malibu's right front at 9:57 p.m. Joseph Kellen was taken to Sanford Regional Worthington in Worthington, Minn., then transferred to McKennan. Petersen, 57, his wife, Bonnie, 49, and daughter, Caitlyn, 20, all of Hadley, Minn., were taken to Sanford Hospital Luverne.
Adrian woman killed in weekend crash
An Adrian woman was killed Friday night when the car she was in skidded sideways into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
