I was hoping that this guy would get a harsher punishment, what type of person would do such a thing? I hope that he screws up and violates the terms of his probation so they have a reason to lock his butt up!

I'm all for that, but let's hold him down at least 50 times until he stops breathing.

You know, if pet owners were more responsible and had pets spayed or neutered, there would not have been 50 adorable little kittens for this man to kill! But, then again, most of the kittens would get euthanized anyway, so either way the kitties suffer.

Pet owners should take note!

I have all rescue animals and it pains me to see adorable dogs and cats on "death row" because some human was not responsible or decided they didn't want the pet anymore.

Sad.

I am at a loss to understand the incredibly lenient punishment (if you can call it that) for this horrendus act. Where was the oversight of the department, and the supervision of this thug.

Our District Attorney cut a deal with the fine folks in corrupt Adelanto to get this thing done with, and out of the spot light. Ramos will a bucket of cash, the city council is free of guilt, and the thug gets 90 days. San Bernardino county at it's finest.

God will sort this one out...

Anyone capable of this kind of heinous act toward the most defenseless of God's creatures, is capable of God-only-knows-what. I only hope he isn't a Michael Vick fan; he'll learn how to parlay this into a reality show.

OK. But the article doesn't tell us the method of euthanasia that the city of Adelanto / Apple Valley uses. I would think that that fact would be a somewhat critical component of this article.

Who defines the parameters of euthanasia? Could he be charged with taking "waterboarding" too far ? oh that's right, it is still open for debate about being torture...

Perhaps someone should hold your head under water till your lungs explode, then you would have a different opinion...

Now wouldn't you.

Every time, when I am walking my 135 pound Giant Schnauzer, a truly social, and friendly dog, and he lets me know he doesn't like somebody, I feel he knows something I do not. He knows true cowards, those who hurt and kill defenseless animals.

Go ahead and not like em, boy, go ahead.....

You totally missed the point, so therefore your comment in this situation is moot. But thanks for trying.

Yea, like the life of a human is equal to the life of a cat. Why don't you pretend to be this passionate when it comes to killing human babies through abortion.

Since when did an animal's life become superior to a humans?
