Hwy. 140 corridor faces opposition

GEMA - Slaunches Praise & Preparedness based on Adairsville tornado response

Almost nine months after winter weather prevented state officials from launching a state initiative based on Adairsville's January 2013 tornado response in the north Bartow town, the Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security rolled out the information this week. To commemorate the beginning of National Preparedness Month in September and help residents prepare for disasters, GEMA is partnering with local houses of worship on a new program called Praise & Preparedness.
