USACE presents public scoping meeting in Acworth July 30
On July 30, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District's public scoping meetings will kick off at Cauble Park Beach House in Acworth. "The purpose of the scoping meetings," said Jonas White, project manager for the Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa Basin for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District, "is to solicit input from the public as USACE seeks to: "Scoping is an opportunity to identify the 'scope' and significance of environmental concerns that should be considered and evaluated in a study.
