Big 33 Celebrity Tailgate Party postponed

Today's Big 33 Celebrity Tailgate Party at Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown -- which was to include appearances by more than 20 sports figures -- has been postponed, organizers said. via The York Daily Record

If anyone is there under 21, make damn sure you print their names and show pictures, as those over 21 lushes will certainly be firing them down. How about setting up a DUI check point outside the main entrance if you want to be real cops.

Sorry to see the tailgate party has been postponed. Even sorrier to hear that the program scheduled for the Fredericksen Library in Camp Hill was cancelled without any public notice. The program, which featured players, coaches and cheerleaders, was a popular attraction for the past two years. This year, not even the staff personnel at the library was aware it had been scratched, nor, for that matter, was a former executive of the Big 33 aware of the cancelation. So what is going on with these scrubbed programs, and why isn't the Big 33 spreading the word about the sudden changes? It's disappointing, to say the least.
