Gov. Rick Perry hasn't yet said whether he's running for re-election - but Attorney General Greg Abbott doesn't appear to be waiting for him to make up his mind.

A federal judge has ordered a psychiatric assessment for Bryce Reed, the 31-year-old former West paramedic accused of possessing bomb-making materials, according to the Waco-Tribune Herald .
