As the Abbeville Police Department ushered in a new era Tuesday night by swearing in its new police chief, it parted ways with a high-ranking vestige from the department's last regime.

The two projects are a wastewater lift station and piping for the new Abbeville campus of Piedmont Technical College , and a custom-built electrical transformer for the new Vienna Street substation.
