Jeanerette man electrocuted in Vermilion after truck touches electrical line

A Jeanerette man died Monday after his 18-wheeler ran across an electrical line near Abbeville, the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's office said.

what a shame

OK...after thinking about this...I have to comment. A 22 year old young guy gets his load of farm equipment caught up in electrical lines and tries to LIFT the ELECTRICAL LINE to get untangled so he can move on! That don't make sense! I feel bad for his family and their loss but it seems like someone should have told him not to touch power lines! It just don't make sense.
