Guns caused the Fort Hood mass-murder, says Chicago's Mayor

I do not know what he means by blaming "fire arms". Sounds like he is working with the terrorist. When we give up our fire arms, we are "dead" as a nation.

Our Nation must stand up for what is right and fight the terrorist here at home. We do not need to be in other countries fighting them.

I say if the mayor does not like American, leave it. We do not need leaders like him, that is part of what is wrong with America today.

I'm not a big fan of guns but Daley's remarks are absolutely ridiculous.

What's this mad man saying now? The millitary needs to ban guns? Take a look at Chicago's crime statistics. They are a prime example of what happens when you make it illegal for law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.

as the quote goes "If guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have them". As ModelMaker stated, look at our crime statistics where only the criminals have easy access to guns. Then look at countries where most homes HAVE a gun.. and hmmm crime is a lot lower.

only the police should be allowed to carry firearms. when everyone is allowed to carry a gun, then you can't be surprised when something like this happens. it doesnt matter if it happened on a military post or out on the open street. if its a muslim or a christian. too may americans carry guns (legally and illegally.) most americans wont agree with this because most americans always need a finger to point at someone. wake up america. stop thinking so primitive.

News flash. Most gun crimes are committed by people that do not have gun permits. Ban guns, and those that are currently committing gun related crimes will carry on with business as usual.

The Fort Hood shooting was probably incited by the CIA (a Right Wing entity). It comes when Generals are asking for more troops. Obama will hold this request over the Right Wing Senators to convince them to support ObamaCare in the U.S. Senate. That's why the democrat LBJ escalated the Viet Nam war.

Sorry, but the 2nd Admendment does not prohibit anything. As it was originally written into Law, it stated We have the right to bear arms, to prevent the Government from taking over the Country. And We may eventually loose that right, same as we are gradually loosing Freedom of Speech, and Freedom of the Press, as well as Freedom of Religion!!! But hold on to your guns and buy more ammo!

Sorry to disagree, but We have a Concealed-Right-to-carry-Permi t here in Texas(no We don't go down the street with 2 six guns strapped on our waist). But since the Law was passed almost 20 years ago, there have been 'few' incidents that have happened by anyone with a Permit. A thourough background search is conducted, and each(male/female) is fingerprinted, and these prints/information is entered into the FBI data base. It's the burgulars/drug users/dealers that steal/use the stolen guns to commit the crimes(Murders/robberies/rapes , etc.). The radical Jihadist at Ft. Hood went ballistic(crazy) and wanted to protect his fellow Islams in the Middle East. He bought the gun/clips/ammo legally. Chicago has an entirely different problem and the Mayor doesn't have any common sense!!
